7 steps to learning a language
1.
Why do you want to learn?
You can't learn without the right motivation. Find yours or you'll get tired soon!
2.
Whether alone or with a teacher, create your daily routine. Remember, doing little is okay but let it be every day!
3.
Unless you live in Italy, create your own micro Italy, using Netflix, Youtube, Amazon Music, blogs, etc., to view content in the language.
4.
Set yourself some mini weekly or monthly goals. When you reach a goal your motivation is strengthened and this increases your confidence in the project.
5.
Don't think that language is just listening or grammar, you have to do everything: read, write, speak, listen, study and discover the culture.
6.
Choose a native speaker teacher who can help you discover your limits and overcome them. May it introduce you to Italy and not just Italian.
7.
Have a good time! It takes fun, passion and lightheartedness to be successful, or your brain will feel the effort too great.
